This piece is based on Chinese public signs in Engllish, the resultant hybrid language has been characterised as ‘chinglish’. To me it creates a poetic non-literal parallel language,sort of ‘ ‘its English Jim but not as we know it’.  It is of course  also inadvertantly humorous. ‘Comfortably Good’ simply rearranges some of these into a formal structure to allow them to speak for themselves.
